HPSO (a non-profit 501 c 3 organization) was founded in 1998 as an outreach of New Life Christian Center in Augusta, Georgia. Although the location has changed three times, the mission has remained….
”To Help People Start Over.”
Since humble beginnings as a Food Pantry, HPSO has expanded to it’s present location and included many teaching programs such as Street Evangelism”, “Jobs for Life” and GED classes. Adult literacy and computer classes will begin in 2009.
Our aim to is not to just give a “hand out”…but to give a “hand up” for those willing to position themselves for a better life for themselves and their families. Our volunteers provide spiritual and educational assistance. They provide not only food …but HOPE!!!
